LIPS

WOW, that collage needed a lot of patience! First I had to manage to take a photo of my own lips with the help of a mirror (that is sooo difficult to take a photo of your own lips...!), then I had to cut out my lips in the PC programme ‘paint’ and then I made this little collage! ...there are surely easier ways but I had fun! :)

I first applied Thierry Mugler’s nude ‘Flash Lips’ as a base. Then I – literally – painted on MaxFactor’s lipfinity lasting lip tint (06 colour number). To finish off the look and to give it the perfect shine I dabbed on some lip gloss. My favourite gloss is from Victoria’s Secret ‘Beauty Rush’ (can’t see the colour name or number but it’s a really light pink).

Angus & Julia

I really love the music of the Australian siblings Angus & Julia Stone. Their website (click here) is AMAZING as well. You should really go and check it out, it’s set up really vintage-y and is really fun and entertaining to click through! You can listen to a song here.

The 1^st picture I got from ‘Lady H’s blog’ (click here) A fashion a city a style. Love her style!

The 2^nd picture is ‘the Carrie’ skirt from Whistles (£110) which was so popular not only in the UK but all over the place. The entire Fashion pack at London Fashion Week was apparently wearing it. During my London student days I used to work in the Whistles store at Spitalfields in East London. At that time Jane Shepherdson had only joined Whistles and gave it this fantastic new look! I still have some of the dresses from Jane’s first collections at Whistles and still love them to bits!

Last but not least is of course a picture of a Topshop lass in a pleated skirt (£60). I needn’t say that it has to belong amongst the top 3 high street looks as well.

Das 1. Bild ist von „Lady H’s“ Blog (hier klicken) „A fashion a city a style“. Ich finde ihren Stil super!

Auf dem 2. Bild ist der „Carrie“ Rock von Whistles (£110) abgebildet, welcher nicht nur wahnsinnig beliebt in England war, sondern überall. Anscheinend wurde dieser Rock vom Fashion Pack in der Zeit des London Fashion Week sehr gerne getragen. Während meiner Studentenzeit in London habe ich in der Whistles Boutique am Spitalfields (East London) gejobbt. Zu der Zeit hatte Jane Shepherdson Whistles nur vor kurzem übernommen und hat dem Label diesen tollen Look verpasst! Ich habe immer noch einige Kleider aus Janes erster Kollektion und liebe diese Teile immer noch heiß und innig!

Zu guter Letzt – das darf natürlich nicht fehlen unter den Top 3 – ein Faltenrock Look von Topshop (£60)

Duedimé

I got these ultra cool sandals in Italy at Duedimé in a tiny town in Umbria. Duedimé means as much as “two of me” in Italian, referring back to the pair of shoes.

I just had to have those sandals as they tick all the boxes when it comes to the summer essential shoes:

-          Snake skin look

-          Flat (!!!!) – it’s so important that they are comfy. Especially if it’s hot outside.

-          High tops

-          Leather – i.e. no sweaty feet J

-          And ooooh sooooo comfortable (again!)

Oh, and the nail varnish is from Brazil – I got it from a friend. It doesn’t really come out on the pic but the colour is neon fluorescent and just GREAT!

Ich habe diese extrem coolen Sandalen in Italien in einer kleinen Schuhboutique in Umbrien bei Duedimé gekauft. Duedimé heißt so viel wie „zwei von mir“ auf Italienisch – bezogen auf das Paar Schuhe.

Ich musste diese Sandalen einfach haben, da sie alle Sommer ‚must-haves‘ erfüllen:

-          Schlangenlederoptik

-          Flach (!!!) – das ist so wichtig dass sie gemütlich sind. Ganz besonders wenn es draußen so heiß ist.

-          High tops

-          Leder – somit schwitzen die Füße nicht J

-          Und sooooo bequem

Das Bild wurde an der Isar gemacht.

Ach ja, der Nagellack ist aus Brasilien – das habe ich von einer Freundin bekommen. Man sieht es nicht so wirklich auf dem Bild aber die Farbe ist Neon leuchtend und einfach SUPER!

Tollwood Festival

The Tollwood Festival is one of my favourite summer events in Munich. It’s hidden away in Munich’s green Olympia Park.

The philosophy of the environmentally friendly festival is all about different cultures and different arts. You can stroll around the stalls which offer beautiful hand crafted jewellery, paintings, photography, pottery, hippiesque fashion and the yummiest dishes from around the whole world. But it doesn’t stop just there. It’s a fantastic place to hang out as the majority of stages on the festival offer free entertainment – be it a music, theatre or comedy stage.

I also spotted quite a few extremely stylish lads and lasses but as I am still quite new to my own blog I was too shy this time to ask them for a picture.... J

Das Tollwood Festival ist eines meiner Lieblingssommerevents in München. Es befindet sich im grünen Olympia Park.

Beim umweltbewussten Festival geht es vor allem um verschiedene Kulturen und verschiedene Künste. Man kann durch die Stände schlendern und sich den hübschen handgemachten Schmuck, Malerei, Photographie, Töpferei, Hippie Mode anschauen oder sich durch das leckerste Essen von allen möglichen Ländern durchfuttern. Aber damit nicht genug, es ist auch ein super Ort um abzuhängen, da die Mehrheit der Bühnen des Festival kostenloses Entertainment anbieten – sei es Musik, Theater oder Comedy.

Außerdem habe ich einige ziemlich stylische Jungs und Mädels dort gesehen. Da ich aber noch ziemlich neu in der Bloggerwelt bin, war ich diesmal zu schüchtern zu fragen, ob ich ein Foto von ihnen machen könnte … J
